Asia: Church Plant
In fall of 2010, Kairos commissioned one of its sisters to spend a year in Asia as an AMI missionary intern. She recently graduated from UCSD and will spend this year sharing the gospel and building up a church plant started by an AMI missionary. God has opened up amazing opportunities for her to minister (one-on-one meetings, eating meals, evangelism, etc) and disciple women at the church plant as well. God has been working mightly through the church – so far at least one person accepts Christ EVERY week. Since the inauragural service in September 2010 (where they began with 8 people), God has grown the church to 35 people by Nov 2010. Jessica Lee: Cincinnati, OH, Over the Rhine (OTR) Living Waters Ministries
After graduating with her M.S. in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University in 2010, Jessica committed a year to serve as an AMI missionary intern at Over the Rhine Living Water Ministries. During this next year, Jessica will build the relationships with the teenage girls of OTR and disciple them. With Jessica’s help, Living Water Ministries offers a reading program and has started a bible study group for teenage girls. On a weekly basis, all of the staff do street evangelism and at least one person every week accepts Christ into their heart.
