2010 Christmas Party
Kairos Christmas party held at Ben's house in Mira Mesa. This year we decided to change it up a bit... instead of a regular potluck, we had everyone bring in a dish they made with canned goods and had them bring extra cans to donate to a nearby homeless shelter. Although we had multiple spam and rice dishes, the food was still delicious. We had a gift exchange as well our annual gingerbread house competition. (17.12.2010, 43 Photos)
Transfer Student Welcome Dinner 2010
Transfers don't get no respect. There are always events welcoming incoming Freshman, outings that are geared towards allowing them to build a social community within the college campus. Baptisms 2010
After the Easter service, many of us drove over to nearby La Jolla shores to witness the baptisms of four of our members. As Esther, Antony, Janet and Steven went went into the ocean and came out of it soaking in the cold water, it marked their admission into the visible church and signified the forgiveness of their sins through Christ's crucifixion and their rebirth as new creations. Ladies Mission Bowl 2010
Photos of Lighthouse Church's Annual Women's Mission Bowl, a football tournament to raise funds for their missions program. Coached by Jessica Chan (first female head coach in the tournament's history) along with her excellent coaching staff and talented team, they were able to work their way into the finals. However, in the final game they ran into a worthy opponent, Kairos' sister church, Church of Southland and lost the game to first-time participants from LA. (16.03.2010, 143 Photos)

Kairos Leadership Retreat 2009
