Volunteer Interest

Outreach Team exists to challenge our church to love our city. We believe that God has planted us in the city of San Diego and has called us to be the hands and feet of Jesus, ministering to those outside the church walls.

Current needs

Food Prep (Thursdays)

Help prepare food on Thursday evenings for Loving Thy Neighbor.

Can also include assisting in grocery shopping and creating a menu for meals.

Commitment:

2-3 hours/month, last 2 Thursdays of the month

Requirement:

Attend Kairos for > 3 months

Food Service (Fridays)

Help get food ready on Friday (late afternoon) and serve meals at the park.

Commitment:

2-3 hours/month, last 2 Fridays of the month

Requirement:

Attend Kairos for > 3 months

Minister / Servant (Fridays)

Minister to the houseless population we serve by having conversations and praying for them.

May also include serving food and sharing devotionals (if open).

2-3 hours/month, last 2 Fridays of the month

Storage and Supply Manager

Manage inventory of clothing and hygiene items in storage and assist in ordering new items.

Commitment:

1-2 hours/month
