Resilient Marriage is a Spirit-led ministry that helps married couples address conflict, strengthen communication, and deepen intimacy. These are private, one-time sessions with a trained couple-coach, lasting about three hours.
Married couples who are committed to your marriage and want to learn to:
Practically apply Biblical relational principles
Grow closer and more connected
Communicate better
Resolve conflict in a healthier way
Heal past hurts
Find more joy in your relationship
Understand each other better
Understand yourself better
Willing to:
Work to see each other's perspective
Be introspective
Humbly acknowledge your contribution to relational distress
Create a safe place for your spouse to open their heart
After completing the intake form, our team will review your responses to determine if Resilient Marriage is a good fit. If so, you’ll be paired with a coach couple who will guide you through The BRIDGE tool. A short reading or homework module will be assigned before your session.
Sessions typically last 3 hours, though exceptions can be made in special circumstances.
Basic relational trust is an essential pre-requisite for Bridge work. The effectiveness of The Bridge depends on an environment where both parties feel safe to be authentic, open to taking gentle relational risks and willing to try new ways of relating.
The Bridge is NOT recommended if either person:
Wants out of the relationship
Is having a physical or emotional affair
Feels unsafe with their partner
Has unhealed trauma
Has untreated addictions (incl. but not limited to substance abuse, gambling, or viewing sexually explicit material)
